A TEAM of football coaches who set up a series of monthly sessions aimed at giving disabled children more opportunities to play the beautiful game are ready to move into extra-time.
Organisers from the Camden and Islington Youth League, and the North London Special League, have been so impressed by the feedback they have received that they have now revealed plans to run the project weekly.
They will still hold their free Sunday session every month, but, from March 2, they will also run free sessions at the artificial pitches in Market Road every Saturday between 10am and noon.
League Secretary Karen Greene said: “The sessions are open to boys and girls under the age of 16. They are free and will be every Saturday until the end of May, so, if you love football, please come along and join in.”
