Dazzling dancers light up Primrose Hill Summer Fair

Samba stars head to Chalcot Square

The London Dance and Cheer Academy put on a daring cheerleader display at the Primrose Hill Summer Fair

NOTHING quite says summer like the sight of an exotic samba band parading through Chalcot Square in dazzling costumes. Dancers and drummers from the Paraiso School of Samba have become a crowd-favourite at the Primrose Hill Summer Fair, which returned on Saturday for the 41st year.

Revellers included new Camden mayor Jenny Headlam-Wells, her consort Joy Johnson and councillor Richard Cotton. Organised by the Primrose Hill Community Association, the action-packed family fun day also included a hat competition, amusement rides, stalls, a BBQ, live music, and plenty of delicious cakes courtesy of Ready Steady Go Nursery.
