NURSERY and primary school children travelled to class dressed as London Underground stations to promote healthier travel options.
Youngsters at Gower School in Cynthia Street, Angel, pulled together some clever outfits to celebrate being given the Transport for London gold stars travel award.

The Mayor of Islington, Cllr Dave Poyser, greeted the children at the door and performed the presentation.
The school’s founder and headteacher Emma Gower, a former Islington councillor, said: “The children look great. We’re all very proud of the award and hope it encourages greener travel in the capital.”
Luella Facer, 7
