A LOST cat is home after its owner took out a large advert in the New Journal and put up posters across Camden Town. Dr Luke Muscutt was heartbroken after his companion vanished through the window of his flat in Camden Town.

The aircraft engineer had recently moved to College Place from Southampton where he had lived with the pet, named Kat, for three years. The cat was found near Oakley Square having crossed the busy Crowndale Road and been taken in by a worried resident.

Dr Muscutt said: “I raced over to get her and couldn’t believe it when I saw she was totally fine, if even skinnier than usual. I received so many calls and texts from people who merely wanted to give support and advice, and it really kept me going. So I want to say thanks Camden – and thanks to the Camden New Journal for your help. I’ll be more careful with the window in future
