Soprano Elin Harries is singing Handel’s nine exquisite German arias reflecting on the glories of nature this Saturday afternoon (June 9) at Heath Street Baptist Church, Hampstead. • Excellent Brazilian pianist Clélia Iruzun is contributing to the musical life in West Hampstead, where she lives, by giving a recital at Emmanuel Church, West Hampstead, on Sunday afternoon (June 10). She’s playing Mozart’s variations on Ah vous dirai-je, Maman, Villa Lobos’s Bachinas Brasilieras + Mignone & Chopin pieces.

• Pianist Maria Canyigueral is exploring the music of Spanish composer/pianist Frederic Mompou and his Cançons i danses, at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, on Sunday evening (June 10). The concert is part of the Inspired by… concerts organised by EUNIC – the European Union of National Institutes of Culture.

• A new violin made by Hampstead luthier Stefan-Peter Greiner is being played in a debut concert at Burgh House, Hampstead, next Tuesday evening (June 12).
