A TEENAGER is in a critical condition in hospital after a stabbing in King’s Cross.
The 19-year-old was found with a stab wound outside Waitrose off York Way after emergency services were called at 10pm on Tuesday nights to reports of an altercation.
He was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition, the Met Police said in a statement.
Police believe the victim was attacked by a group of males who then fled the scene. A knife has been recovered from the scene and no arrests have yet been made.
“Detailed enquiries including forensic tests and recovery of local CCTV footage is in hand,” said the Met.
Emergency stop and search powers – section 60 – were authorised for N1, WC1, EC1 and NW1 until 6am on Wednesday morning.
Detectives are asking witnesses or anyone with information to call 101 quoting CAD 7897/4 Sept or Crimestoppers anonymously via 0800 555 111.
