You can attend the mayor’s charity gala dinner and auction

08 March, 2018

Spurs supporter Cllr Richard Cotton

• THROUGHOUT my mayoral year I have been supporting C4WS Homeless Project, which provides winter shelter for homeless people and helps them to rebuild their lives.

I am holding a Gala Dinner at Gabetos in Camden Market on March 22 (tickets £80 from 020 7424 0692). Diners will enjoy a three-course meal with wine and live entertainment including local pianist Francois Pierron who learnt to play the piano on the public piano at St Pancras International Station while he was homeless.

Diners can also bid for some amazing auction prizes including the Tottenham Hotspur OPUS (recommended retail price £2,000) a full record of the club’s history, complete with signed memorabilia and a section on the north London Derby with many old Arsenal and Tottenham programmes; and a football signed by the Spurs team.

I hope that many New Journal readers will buy tickets for the dinner, which are selling fast. But for anyone who cannot come but wishes to bid, in advance, for the Tottenham Hotspur OPUS or for the signed football, they can do so by sending their bid to me at:
